How To Install Toshiba Print Drivers for MacOS

This guide is intended to help Mac users waste time by installing Toshiba print drivers manually. An easier and faster option is to use the Toshiba Auto Installer but if you insist see below.

Again the Toshiba Auto Installer performs each step automatically with one click.

How to steps

  1. Download the print drivers directly from Toshiba's website. If the Toshiba website is unavailable, you can download the latest Toshiba Universal print drivers here.
  2. Extract the print drivers.
  3. Install the print drivers and create the print queue.

Step 1. Download OEM Print Drivers

Go to enter your Model Number and click search.

Click on your Operating System and download the driver

Other Drivers

Ricoh only has 1 Postscript driver available for Mac OS. There are no Mac OS PCL driver available at this time.

Step 2. Extract the Print Drivers and install the Package file

  1. Go to your Downloads folder, open the DMG file, run the Package file (You'll need the admin password to the computer).


The Konica Auto Installer does all of this with one click.

Step 3. Goto System Preferences & Create Print Queue

Go to System Preferences and click on Printers & Scanners.

Click on the + to create the print queue.

Select IP enter Address, Protocol Line Printer Daemon - LPD, enter print for Queue, enter a Name and select a model.


The Ricoh Auto Installer does this with 1 click.

Go to the Home Screen and click on User Functions.

Click on the Admin Tab.

Enter the Admin Password the default Admin Password is 123456.

Click on Network

Click on IPv4

Change default print settings

Open up a web browser and goto http://localhost:631/printers

If you get the following message, open up Terminal and type the cupsctl WebInterface=yes command.
